Samsung Galaxy S6 Nougat – How to root using Magisk [Tutorial]

In today’s short tutorial you’ll find out how to obtain root access on your Samsung Galaxy S6 after the Nougat update, using Magisk. The device used in the video is the SM-G920F.

The process goes as folows:

1. Download Odin and TWRP files to your computer
2. Use Odin to flash TWRP onto your phone
3. Install Magisk Manager on your phone
4. Use Magisk Manager to download the Magisk zip file
5. Flash the Magisk zip file using TWRP
6. If you’re experiencing “Session expired” problems with your Samsung account afterwards, wipe Samsung Account data using Titanium backup app.

Remember: anything you do to your phone or on your phone is your own responsibility. 😉
Always back up your data in case something goes wrong.
